Back to UNMC

I was released from UNMC Thursday 5\19
and on Friday 5\20 retained lots of fluid
and started to feel very strange around 730pm.
My chest and stomach hurt so I had Isaac drive
me to Hy-Vee to check my BP. The device at
Hy-Vee was reading 180's \ low 100's. My
BP had increased since coming home from UNMC
so we packed up Zachary and headed to UNMC
ER at 9pm on Friday night. After running
tests in the ER and contacting my ob doctors
I was admitted and sent back up to the OB
area on the 4th floor. They determined I was
having post preclampsia again. My eco's all
turned out fine so no concern for postpartum
cardiomyopathy, but we needed to control my BP.
The DR's started me on magnesium to stop any
seizures and help my body release fluid.
This stuff makes you have hot flashes 24\7.
For 24hrs I felt like my own personal sauna.

Sunday they gave me BP meds and watched my BP
to confirm the meds were working. I was release
Sunday night 6pm to go home. On BP meds for 30 days
along with DR visits to confirm everything looks ok.

Recovering at home with help from my mom and Trudy.
Taylor is adjusting to all the changes and being
a great big sister. Taylor gets out of school this
week to start her summer vacation.
